My spiritual path began in 1996 as an 18 year old single mother. During a moment of despair, my heart cried out for help and I felt a Feminine Presence comfort me ~ giving me clarity, inspiration and hope. I knew it was time to explore the deeper meaning in my life. By the time I was 21, I was a married mother of three, and searching for spiritual community. It was within one of these communities that I met my first mentor and was introduced to Earth-Based Goddess Spirituality. This felt like coming home, and became the foundation for my personal practice from that point on.
In the summer of 2002, I was attuned to the Master level of Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing at a weekend long spiritual retreat run by my mentor. I was later attuned as a Master of Essential Reiki (lineage founded by Diane Stein during the 1970′s Women’s Spirituality Movement) in 2005 and Celtic Reiki in 2007. In 2005, I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR and became licensed as a Massage Therapist. The same year, I completed a priestess training course through The Order of the White Moon, and received ordination as a Minister through the Esoteric Interfaith Church, allowing me to offer my counsel and wisdom, gained from over ten years of spiritual practice. Shortly after completing my priestess studies, I began working with my next mentor, who introduced me to the Wise Woman Tradition of healing, something that has greatly influenced my life and work ever since.
In 2007, to begin my healing and teaching practice, I co-founded Ahahra Divine Healing & Creative Arts Center in Portland, OR. After serving there as Creative Director for two years, I felt the calling to move on and created SpiralWise Healing Arts in October 2009. The influences I draw from include Goddess Spirituality, New Age, Taoism, Gnosticism, Celtic Shamanism, and Native American Spirituality ~ although I remain unattached from any specific dogma, preferring an eclectic approach to finding one’s personal Truth.
My desire is to assist others by sharing what I have learned in an open, honest way, while encouraging them to discover and walk their Soul’s chosen path.
Infinite Universe
There are many paths, and mine is but One.
I will follow it as best I can.
I will not say that I am right and others wrong,
Only that I will try to do what is right for me.
If there are others who wish to walk beside me,
I will help them if they ask.
If there are others who do not see a way,
I will offer mine.
If my path is theirs, I will rejoice…
But if it is not, I will not sorrow.
For the Universe is Infinite
And all paths lead home.
